Bent lawyer must serve more jail time

A disgraced solicitor who took part in Britain’s biggest ever tax fraud must serve another eight years and nine months in jail for failing to pay back a £3.5m confiscation order. Rodney Whiston-Dew, 72, the former president of the Rotary Club of London, was jailed for 10 years for his role in a fake ‘green’ investment scheme in 2017.
