Bent PR boss Christopher McEvoy escapes jail for House of Lords scam

A PR boss who scammed members of the House of Lords as helped himself to £250,000 to spend eye-watering sums on gambling sites has avoided jail today (fri). Christopher McEvoy, 45, falsely claimed some of the money had gone to peers including Baroness Ruth Henig and Lord Gordon Wasserman.
