Bike thief had faked lanyard

A burglar tricked security at London’s Riverside Studios by wandering in with a lanyard around his neck, a court heard. Richard Connick, 49, rode off with creative director Rachel Tackley’s pink Brompton bike and a staff laptop totalling £2,300 on 15 December 2020.
