A mother from Blackpool accused of of involvement in a £3m property fraud told a court her model daughter’s ‘intimidating’ lover was behind the scam. Dianne Moorcroft, 62, changed her name by deed poll to convince estate agents and solicitors she was Margaret Gwenllian Richards, 85, the owner of a vacant £3m house in Eagle Place, Kensington, jurors heard.
