Boiler room fraud gang locked up

Twelve fraudsters who swindled more than 100 elderly investors out of £2.5m in a series of boiler room scams have been jailed for a total of more than 50 years. Vulnerable victims across the country were cold-called and convinced into ploughing their life savings into diamonds which were sold for up to ten times their actual price.
