Buddhist who caused £16k of damage to Treasury gets community order

An Extinction Rebellion protester who sprayed fake blood on the Treasury has been spared jail. Mark Ovland, 40, was part of a group of activists who bought the vehicle in Aylesbury, Bucks, before driving it to the government building in Westminster on 3 October 2019.
