Bulgarian builder jailed for police attack

  A Bulgarian builder who pulled a kitchen knife on two police officers about to arrest him as he was leaving for work has been jailed for 14 months. Officers attended the home of Metodi Stefanov, 26, in Woodford Green, Essex, back on 13 September after his name was circulated for failing to comply with requirements attached to a previous suspended sentence.
