Cleared axe murder suspects want £1m

Three men who claim they were ‘maliciously prosecuted’ for the notorious unsolved axe murder of a private eye are demanding more than £1m in compensation. Daniel Morgan, a partner in Southern Investigations, was found with an axe buried in his head in the carpark of the Golden Lion pub in Sydenham, southeast London, in 1987.
