Climate protester blames judges – and gets five weeks in jail

A climate protestor who stopped traffic to bring rush house chaos to the City of London was jailed. Retired teacher Catherine Rennie-Ash, 71, along with Simon Reding, 50 and Helen Redfern, 58 blocked traffic between Bishopsgate and Wormwood Street on 25 October 2021. Thousands of people on buses were held up as a result of the Insulate Britain protest, Inner London Crown Court was told.
