Consultant cleared of moonlighting fraud

A consultant radiologist accused of moonlighting at private clinics while collecting her NHS salary has been cleared of fraud. Dr Maria Klusmann, 47, was said to have worked at private clinics across the capital while on approved leave from University College London Hospital between April 2014 and August 2016. But Dr Klusmann was cleared of one count of fraud by abuse of position by a jury at Blackfriars Crown Court today (weds) after insisting it was all a ‘massive misunderstanding’….
