A Coca-Cola manager was paid more than £1m in bribes for dishing out vastly inflated contracts to corrupt company bosses, a court heard. Noel Corry, 56, accepted Man United executive season tickets and sponsorship payments for his local football team, Droylsden FC. Corry ensured a string of contracts went to three firms including engineering firm Boulting Group, while working as an ‘Electrical & Automation Manager’ for the US soft drinks giant.
