Croydon tram driver ‘fell asleep’ and killed seven passengers
A tram driver may have fallen asleep when when he crashed at triple the speed limit and killed seven passengers, a court heard. Alfred Dorris, 49, took a bend near Sandilands at 40mph when the speed limit was 12mph on the Croydon tramlink.
