The father of two brothers who were killed while fighting in Syria is facing jail for promoting extremist violence in his sermons. Abubaker Deghayes, 53, made a stabbing motion with his hands and preached that ‘Jihad was compulsory’ to his 50-strong congregation, including children, at the Brighton Mosque.
