A woman who poisoned her mother with insulin and smothered her to death with a pillow wept as she admitted manslaughter today (MON). Shirley D’Silva, 55, killed 77-year-old Martha Pereira at their home in Croydon, south London, and then dialled 999 and told emergency workers how she did it.
