Doctor Who actor ‘beat his wife’

A former Doctor Who actor beat his elderly wife in front of their adult son, a court heard. Steve Pokol, 89, who appeared in the long running BBC series in the 1960s, allegedly assaulted Sarah Pokol twice on 4 December last year.
