Driver beat girlfriend

A motorist accused of repeatedly punching his girlfriend in the face as he drove along the A2  has been remanded in custody. Brendan Scott, 31, was at the wheel of an Audi Avant when he was seen by another driver assaulting his partner Charlotte Jarvis on March 6, it was said.
