Eco zealots deny Madame Tussauds cake attack

Two eco-activists have denied attacking the waxwork of King Charles III with a chocolate cake at Madame Tussauds. Tom Johnson, 29, and Eilidh McFadden, 20, allegedly slapped the monarch’s wax face with the sweet on 29 November during a Just Stop Oil protest. Robert Simpson, prosecuting, said the damage amounted to £3,500, but some of that value is loss of revenue suffered by the owners Merlin Entertainment.
