Ex-chef accused of double killing

A former chef denied killing two girlfriends as they slept when he appeared at the Old Bailey today (Fri). Robert Trigg, 52, is charged with murder and manslaughter over the deaths of two women some five years apart. Susan Nicholson died aged 52 in 2011, while Caroline Devlin was found dead, aged 35, in 2006. Trigg was arrested last year after police re-opened investigations into their deaths.
