Family of late raider call for better jail medical training

The family of Hatton Garden raider Terry Perkins has called for medical training for jail staff caring for prisoners fitted with pacemakers. Perkins, 69, was found collapsed in his cell at maximum security Belmarsh Prison on 5 February last year after serving half of his sentence for his role in the £14m gems raid. Prison officers and medical staff tried to revive him after he was found slumped in front of his television but he was pronounced dead at 8:54am….
