Father of one ‘tried to murder man with machete’

  A father of one accused of attempting to murder a man with a machete was remanded in custody today (mon). Louis Torres, 21, allegedly attacked Luke Wilson on 17 November last year in Beacon Road, Brentwood, Essex. Torres is charged with attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
