Fine for car dealership after mechanic crushed by van

A car dealership has been fined £53,400 after a mechanic was nearly crushed to death by a van on a faulty lift. Thangarasa Giventhiran was left with devastating injuries when a 2.9 ton Vauxhall Movano van landed on him at The Great Automobiles Company in Penge, southeast London.
