First casualty of the ‘Guernsey Way’ scandal

One of Guernsey’s most senior health bosses has become the first official to be struck off in the wake of a baby death scandal at a maternity ward. Jacqueline Gallienne was the director of Guernsey’s Health and Social Services Department (HSSD), which oversaw nursing standards at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
