Footballer did a runner from police ‘because he had been stopped so many times before’

A footballer claimed his uninsured car had been stolen after he was caught jumping running a red light, a court heard. Reece Price-Placid, 25, sped away from officers who tried to stop him at Kennington Park Lane at around 6.30pm The former Woking winger escaped and that evening, 24 April he reported his Ford Focus had been stolen the night before.
