Former Met Police officer accused of abusing girl ‘felt invincible’
Former Met Police officer David Carrick felt ‘invincible’ as a perpetrator of sexual abuse which he began when he was a teenager, a court heard. Carrick, 50, is accused of indecently assaulting a 12-year-old girl for two years while he was between 14 and 16. He is also accused of repeatedly raping a woman during a ‘toxic relationship’ ending in 2019 while he was a serving police officer.
