Girl faces jail for nearly knocking rail worker’s eye out of socket

A teenage girl who nearly knocked a rail station worker’s eye out of its socket with a single blow after she was stopped at the barriers is facing jail. Tashanna Mauge, 18, punched TfL worker Akinyika Oyedapo at Denmark Hill station in southeast London on 15 April. Mauge admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm at Blackfriars Crown Court but denied a further charge of racially aggravated grievous bodily harm.
