A murder suspect accused of blasting a man to death with a shotgun was cleared after his ‘vengeful’ girlfriend retracted her statement. Benjamin Wallace, 36, was said to have shot Akeem Moore, 22, dead and injured his friend Faisal Mudde, 25, at a flat in Eastney Road, Croydon last 7 October.
