Groomer gets ten years

A ‘vile predator’ who targeted children across three decades has been jailed for ten years. Tahir Mahmood, 64, groomed three young boys between 1984 and 2004, and threatened to self-harm if they ever told anyone about the abuse. Police first received a complaint in September 2018 that Mahmood had repeatedly assaulted a child between 1984 and 1991.
