Groping gunner ‘wanted to make new friends’

A soldier who groped a woman at a West End bar days before he was due to fly out to Afghanistan has been spared jail. Gunner Ciolion Scullion, 20, told police he just wanted to ‘make a new friend’ after he was arrested for the sex assault at The Roxy in Fitzrovia on 28 September last year.
