HGV driver’s crash for cash scam

Two insurance fraudsters have admitted staging a ‘crash for crash’ insurance scam. Adam Islam, 24, and Mohammed Khayer, 27, pleaded guilty to making insurance claims from two major insurance firms, Accident Exchange Limited and LV. Islam falsely claimed he had been injured in an accident caused by Khayer and the pair then made insurance and personal injury claims on two insurance companies. They had to make a report to the police and officers realised the case was an obvious fraud….
