Hospital gunman wanted ‘death by cop’

A gunman caught with an air pistol outside a hospital wanted to be shot by police officers, a court heard. Darren Brain, 41, was armed with a black BB handgun when he was arrested outside the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea on 19 April.
