Housewife Sandra Wignall posed for photographs in her
underwear after secret sex sessions with her lover in a Rolls
Royce, the foxes-in-the-wood murder trial heard today (wed).
And the Old Bailey was told how her obsession with chauffeur
Terry Bewley led her into sordid bondage encounters with strangers.
Her neighbour, middle-aged Christine Willis, said Mrs Bewley,
48, described to her how she met Bewley for sex after they became
lovers.
Mrs Willis said: ‘She didn’t visit him at any home address.
She met up with him at a garage where he parked his cars.
‘She used to go there and meet him to have sex in the Rolls
Royces in the garage.
She showed me a couple of photographs of her
in the car in her underwear.
‘
Mrs Willis, said Bewley encouraged Mrs Wignall to have sex
with strangers, including a man called Bill who lived in Fulham.
Describing other encounters, Mrs Willis, who at the time lived
next door to Mrs Wignall in Rowhurst Avenue, Addlestone, Surrey,
said: ‘Terry came round on one occasion and said he had got a present
for her and he blindfolded her and tied her to the bed and brought
a man in to have sex with her.
‘It was somebody she didn’t know and it was with Terry present.
It happened one more time.
She said she thought it was a different
man because one had a moustache and the other one didn’t.
‘
But when Bewley, 42, of Trevor Crescent, Ruislip, Middx.
, broke
off their torrid affair, Mrs Wignall met and married 55-year-old Bob
Wignall at Christmas, 1991.
Mrs Wignall later lured her husband to woods near their home
where he was then stabbed to death by Bewley and another man, Harold
Moult, 43, of Clissold Street, Ladywood, Birmingham, it has been
alleged.
Mrs Willis said that Mrs Wignall had renewed her affair with
Bewley soon after the wedding.
She told the court: ‘She (Wignall) told me she had been seeing
Terry within nine days after she had married Bob.
‘She had been going to where he was now living in Ruislip and
started having a sexual relationship with him again.
‘She said she found the relationship with Bob stifling because
he wanted to spend all the time with her and she couldn’t get used
to being so close with somebody so much of the time.
‘She said the biggest mistake she had made in her life was
marrying Bob.
Terry was now offering her more of a relationship and
they could have a normal life if she hadn’t married Bob.
‘
Mrs Willis added: ‘She said at first Bob had some difficulties
with sex but once he overcame them they had quite a frequent sexual
relationship.
‘
Mrs Willis, who now lives in Weybridge, said Mrs Wignall was
once ordered by Bewley to drive to meet him wearing nothing but her
coat.
But she broke down in her car and it caused her ‘extreme
distress.
‘ Mrs Willis said: ‘The next night she drove to the same
place in the same way.
‘
On another occasion, she was told to meet Bewley and ‘Bill’
in a pub.
It allegedly ended up with Mrs Wignall being told to have
sex with Bill at his home while Bewley watched.
Mrs Willis said that Bewley never told Mrs Wignall where he
lived until after she married Mr Wignall.
He would visit her every
two or three weeks and then disappear which made her ‘upset.
‘
Mrs Willis said Bewley got into financial difficulties and Mrs
Wignall planned to sell her house, move into a smaller home and give
her lover the profit.
The prosecution claims the motive for murder was lust and greed
and Mrs Wignall stood to gain pnds stlng 21,000 insurance money if
her husband died.
She allegedly claimed he was killed by a group of youths as
they fed foxes in the woods near their home, but the prosecution
allege her story is ‘complete fiction.
‘
All three defendants deny murder on 5 September last year and
the trial continues.
