‘Hypnotised by Dr Alladin’

A psychologist who hypnotised a university student without her consent and said he wanted to film her in the trance-like state to capture her ‘inner beauty’ has been struck off. Dr Waseem Alladin asked the woman what she would do if he ‘kidnapped’ her and called two others ‘earth mothers’ and ‘soulmates,’ a tribunal heard. He made the unwanted advances towards four female pupils while working at the university as a psychology and counselling lecturer on undergraduate courses in 2015….
