‘I didn’t actually ride the e-scooter’

A boxing coach who claimed he did not actually ride his e-scooter and just used it as a shopping trolley has been banned from the road. Marvin King, 33, had no insurance and was not licenced to ride the scooter when he was stopped and arrested by officers on Regent Street on June 25 of last year. He was convicted in his absence on November 17 after he claimed he turned up at court but was turned away by security….
