Illegal immigrant nicked £4,000 knife from Harrords

An Algerian stole a £4,000 kitchen knife from Harrods after arriving in the country as an unaccompanied child, a court heard. Sofiane Ouasli, 18, swiped the Beretta knife from a display cabinet at the famous Knightsbridge department store on September 1 this year. Two weeks later French-Algerian Ouasli, who travelled to the UK alone from Algeria two years ago when he was 16, returned to take £1,215 worth of clothes.
