Jail for businessman who forced Romanians to work as car wash slaves

A businessman trafficked eight Romanians including a 15-year-old boy and forced them to work as slaves at his car wash, a court heard. Hewa Magari, 45, lured his victims to the UK after offering them jobs, fair pay, food and accommodation during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
