Jail for controlling lover

A controlling lover who repeatedly beat his girlfriend during a three month relationship and threatened to kill her when she tried to leave him has been jailed for two years. Adrian Samms, 48, was found hiding in a closet at Sonia Davidson’s home in Gipsy Hill, south London, after she complained he had beaten her with a belt.
