Jail for Turk who smuggled 10,000 illegals into Britain
A Turkish crime boss who smuggled more than 10,000 migrants into the UK in small boats has been jailed for eleven years. Adem Savas, 45, the National Crime Agency’s ‘number one target’, was detained at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam on 13 November 2024, then extradited to Belgium. Savas admitted being a member of an organised crime group and people trafficking at a court in Bruges.
