Jail for underworld armourers

Two gangsters who converted blank firing handguns into lethal weapons have been jailed for a total of 13 years. Afzaal Ahmed, 26, was investigated by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command after he bought 14 blank firearms and ammunition from a company in London. He had also made similar purchases at two other dealerships in the Midlands and London.
