Jail for Islamaphobe troll

A former right-wing radio host who trolled a Muslim anti-hate crime activist with vile ‘Islamophobic’ emails has been jailed. Timothy Burton, 64, labelled Fiyaz Mughal OBE a ‘mendacious grievance-mongering taqqiya-artist-in-chief’ in a string of emails between 4 and 26 April last year. Burton also described Islam as a ‘backwards, misogynistic, seventh-century’ ideology in one of the six messages to Mr Mughal.
