Pot in tomato cans

Two drug smugglers are facing jail for importing £700,000 worth of cannabis in cans of tinned tomatoes. Simon Coombes, 39, and Colin Weller, 69, set up a front company called ‘Nezzo’ to contract lorry transports across Europe. They planned to import the massive consignment of cannabis inside a lorryload of tinned tomatoes from northern Spain but the cargo was intercepted at Dover on January 29.
