Jurors trying Putin-appointed governor told to ‘put politics aside’
A judge told a jury trying a Putin-appointed governor accused of breaching sanctions made against Russians living in the UK to ‘put politics aside’. Dmitrii Ovsiannikov, 47, is alleged to have accepted cash from his brother-in law Alexei Owsjanikow, 46, and wife Ekaterina Ovsiannikova, 46, while a designated individual.
