Prisoner admits killing custody officer

A mentally ill prisoner has admitted killing a female custody officer at court by kicking her head ‘like a football’. Humphrey Burke, now 28, looked straight at Lorraine Barwell before twice lashing out at her while being escorted from Blackfriars Crown Court in handcuffs.
