Killers who celebrated murder with high fives get 144 years
Five gang members who hugged eachother as they celebrated gunning down a rival on the street have been jailed for a total of 144 years. Sharmake Mohamud, 22, died from multiple gunshot wounds in Green Lanes, Haringey, north London on 21 September 2021. CCTV footage shows the killers hugging, high-fiving, and slapping each other on the backs after murdering Mohamud. Two passers-by, Newton Junior and Arber Dervishi, were also shot but survived.
