Knifeman who searched ‘I hate Britain’ cleared of trying to stab MoD officers

A suicidal knifeman wanted ‘death by cop’ when he brandished a knife at Ministry of Defence officers at Horse Guards Parade, a jury has found. Prashanth Kandhaiah, 30, came within seconds of being shot dead at the ceremonial parade ground in St James Park on Easter Monday 18 April.
