Man accused of murder of Marjama Osman in court

An Eritrean man accused of stabbing a young woman to death was remanded in custody. Marjama Osman, 26, was stabbed to death in Firth Road, Croydon on 31 May just after 9am. Simon Ghebremedhin, 33, appeared at the Old Bailey today (tues) charged with murder and possession of cannabis. Police and paramedics attended Firth Road and treated two individuals. Ms Osman died at the scene due to a single stab wound. Ghebremedhin and Ms Osman were known to each other….
