Mentally ill son killed dad and attacked three strangers

A mentally ill son who battered his father to death with a cycle lock and then attacked three strangers will probably be detained in hospital for a ‘very long time’, a court heard. Leon Joseph, 37, repeatedly beat and stabbed dad Glenroy Joseph, 60, before dumping his blood-stained clothes and trainers in a wheelie bin.
