Mice ran riot at Poundworld

Discount chain Poundworld is facing a massive fine after shoppers were sold contaminated food at a mouse infected shop. The budget store sold products ‘unfit for human consumption’ in Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon, south London. Mice were found scurrying across the shop floor and basement storage areas when inspectors visited on 22 February last year.
