Nigerian woman spared jail over false passport

A Nigerian woman who used a fake French passport to stay in the UK claiming she had an ‘abusive husband’ has avoided jail. Yemi Bolaji, 47, handed over a photocopy of the document to the Ainslie Rehabilitation Unit in Chingford, east London, when applying for work as a kitchen assistant in April of this year.
