Paedophile kept images of child rape ‘because he was curious’

A paedophile who was caught with hundreds of child abuse images has walked free after he insisted he only had the pictures ‘out of morbid curiosity.’ The judge told Stephen Giffen, 60, he had ‘great difficulty’ in accepting his excuse – but gave him credit for not reoffending since his arrest in May 2019.
