Paramedic ‘killed moped rider while responding to call’

A paramedic accused of killing a moped rider while responding to a call appeared in court today (mon). Robbie Currie, 32, allegedly collided with Hamed Najar at the junction of Fulham Road and Redcliffe Gardens in Chelsea on January 15 last year. Nathan Paine-Davey, prosecuting, said: ‘The defendant was driving in a London ambulance. He was on his way to a call and it is right to say that at the junction of Redcliffe Gardens he was in blue lights.’…
